Men’s hockey splits against St. John’s
Most teams would show a little enthusiasm about earning a split, but the St. Thomas hockey team isn’t showing any after splitting with St. John’s this weekend.
Swimming and diving dominates weekend performances
The Tommie women’s swimming and diving teams wrapped up a successful weekend after competing in two meets, winning Friday at home and again Saturday at Macalester.

St. Thomas beat Benedictine University (Ill.) 57-10 Saturday during the first round of the NCAA playoffs at Palmer Field. The team will play Linfield College of Oregon at noon next Saturday at home.

Volleyball team reflects on season after quarterfinals loss
It might take a while until the St. Thomas volleyball team realizes what it accomplished this season. After a tough loss in the NCAA quarterfinals to an experienced Juniata College, emotions will cloud things for some time. But all players need to do is look around at where they are, in St. Louis, to realize how special their season has been.

The volleyball team learned that lesson the hard way Friday, losing to Juniata College in straight sets in the NCAA quarterfinals in St. Louis.
