Target Field officials are busy preparing the Minnesota Twins stadium for the annual Tommie-Johnnie rivalry matchup on Saturday. TommieMedia’s Carolyn Meyer captured the baseball to football transition.
For this year’s Tommie-Johnnie game, St. Thomas faculty discouraged students attending the game not to wear any offensive shirts or other clothing following a statement by officials at St. John’s explicitly saying that anyone wearing offensive shirts would not be allowed into the stadium.
St. Thomas advanced in the NCAA playoffs after a 38-19 win over St. John’s in a historic rivalry rematch.
