St. Paul passes landmark minimum wage law
The St. Paul City Council passed a $15 minimum wage ordinance Wednesday afternoon. Large businesses, including the University of St. Thomas, will increase minimum wages to $11.50 by July 1, 2020 and reach $15 an hour by 2023.

Protesters rally for $15 minimum wage at U of M
Protesters from the group 15 Now Coalition and other groups rallied for raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour Tuesday night outside Coffman Union in Minneapolis.
Minimum wage increases to $8 an hour in Minnesota
The hourly wage moves from $6.15 to $8, the first in a series of steps that will eventually set it at $9.50 an hour for big companies, including those with gross annual sales topping a half-million dollars.
