The women’s cross country team took third place behind Carleton and Bethel in the conference championships Saturday.

Junior Allie Metzler led the Tommies with a 10th place finish, and senior Kelly Russ contributed points as well coming in 15th. Both received All-MIAC distinctions. Russ was All-MIAC all four years of her collegiate career.

The tournament marked the end of the cross country team’s three-year stretch of conference championships.
