WAVERLY, Iowa — Despite 28 points from junior forward Hannah Spaulding, the St. Thomas women’s basketball team fell to East Texas Baptist University 61-58 Friday in overtime at Levick Arena in Waverly, Iowa.

The Tommies were never able to get their offense going against a stifling Tiger defense. St. Thomas junior guard Kaylie Brazil finished with 10 points, including an overtime trey that tied the game at 58-58.

With the loss, the Tommies season ends.
