The St. Thomas women’s soccer team lost to Augsburg 1-0 Wednesday at Edor Nelson Field in Minneapolis.

Augsburg forward Ashley St. Aubin scored their only goal. The Auggies led in saves 6-3 and the Tommies led in shots 17-13.

In women’s volleyball, the Tommies won to Concordia-Moorhead 3-1 Wednesday at Schoenecker Arena.

The Tommies won the first set 25-18, the second 33-31 and the fourth 26-24. The Cobbers took the third set, 24-26.

The St. Thomas football team travels to UW-Eau Claire Saturday for a 6:10 P.M. kickoff. The 2-0 overall Tommies hope to stay undefeated this weekend.

The Minnesota Twins clinched the American League Central Division championship for the first time in nine years, after a 5-1 win over the Detroit Tigers Wednesday.

The Twins hope to sweep the Royals for their last regular season games this weekend.
