In the past six months, the St. Thomas community has experienced hate crimes, protests and multiple conversations about racism at our school. Most recently, TommieMedia published photos of blackface from The Aquin newspaper and Aquinas yearbook archives.

TommieMedia has reported on these events to the best of our ability, and we strive hard to represent appropriate perspectives on the stories that we cover. Even so, we recognize that some points of view may be overrepresented while some communities, like students of color, may be underrepresented.

We wish to provide a platform for any St. Thomas student to be heard.

The voicemails will be recorded and then edited into a podcast, which will be published with context on TommieMedia.com.
