Vouchers for student tickets for the Sept. 23 Tommie-Johnnie football showdown will be made available online tonight at 7.

Per a sponsorship with the Undergraduate Student Government, a limited number of free tickets are available for current undergraduate students. Students are allowed only one ticket per person.

After going through the online purchasing system, students who make a purchase will be given a voucher for one free ticket. The vouchers can be exchanged for a ticket on Monday, Sept. 18 and Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the lower level of the Anderson Student Center. A limited number of free matchup t-shirts will be available during the voucher exchange period at Tommie Central.

A university-sponsored shuttle will take students to and from Target Field on gameday. Registration will be made available at the same time as the vouchers.

In last year’s matchup, a narrow 33-21 victory, running back Josh Parks led the Tommies offense with 109 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. His late fourth quarter touchdown, combined with a Michael Alada interception on the Johnnies’ last possession, sealed the win for the Tommies.

This year’s clash starts at 1:10 p.m. Sept. 23 at Target Field. Since 2010, the Tommies are 5-2 against the Johnnies.
