Michaela Hughbanks, business administration and accounting major

Hughbanks is from Omaha, Nebraska. She is involved in Undergraduate Student Government, is an admissions tour guide and has participated in Colleges Against Cancer and Relay for Life.

As a member of student government, Hughbanks said her greatest accomplishment is the positive changes she was able to make for the student body. Her favorite memory as a Tommie was meeting all the new people freshman year and beginning her involvement in campus events and clubs.

Hughbanks has a unique pet, a corn snake, something she said some people may not know about her.

After graduation, Hughbanks plans to return home to Omaha to work with her family’s waste management and recycling business.
