The St. Thomas defense held St. Olaf to less than 5 total yards in the first half to help the fourth-ranked Tommie football team to a 45-0 halftime lead Saturday afternoon at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.
St. Olaf forced a turnover the Tommies’ first possession of the game, but failed to cross into Tommie territory the rest of the half.
Tight end Jackson Hull trotted into the endzone on a 53-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Alex Fenske to start the scoring for the Tommies with 10:42 to play in the first quarter.
The Tommies finished the half with 404 total yards.
