St. John’s 61, Augsburg 6
St. John’s quarterback Jackson Erdmann passed for 255 yards as the Johnnies dismantled Augsburg 61-6 in Collegeville.

The No. 4 Johnnies scored five touchdowns in the first quarter, with two each coming from running back Kai Barber and tight end Jack Kemper. Wide receiver Andrew VanErp scored on a 10-yard pass from Erdmann.

Augsburg scored its only touchdown from Le’Andre Benion off a 99-yard kickoff return in the third quarter.

St. John’s plays Bethel at home Saturday at 1 p.m. before traveling to Allianz Field in St. Paul the following weekend for the annual Tommie-Johnnie game. Augsburg plays St. Thomas at Edor Nelson Field Saturday at 1:10 p.m.

Bethel 42, Carleton 13
No. 7 Bethel, led by quarterback Jaran Roste’s 265 passing yards, was more than enough to defeat Carleton, 42-13 at Royal Stadium in Arden Hills.

Carleton’s touchdowns came from wide receiver Emanual Williams in the second quarter and running back Sean Goodman Jr. in the third quarter. Bethel scored four touchdowns in the first half and two in the second half.

Carleton travels to Hamline for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Saturday at Klas Field in St. Paul.

St. Olaf 29, Hamline 2
St. Olaf quarterback Lars Prestemon threw for 190 yards and the Oles remained unbeaten with a 29-2 win over Hamline 29-2 at Klein Field in Northfield.

Hamline scored two points off a safety following Connor Leaven’s blocked punt.

St. Olaf’s bye weekend is next week, which will be followed by a trip to Bethel for a 1 p.m. kick Saturday, Oct. 19, at Royal Stadium.
