On Oct. 8, 2014 at 12:59 a.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics responded to a medical situation in Morrison Hall. Medics took a St. Thomas student, who expressed concerns of harming himself, to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On Oct. 8, 2014 at 11:29 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Ireland Hall. Seven underage St. Thomas students were found to have consumed or possessed alcohol, and two of the students also possessed stolen St. Thomas property.
On Oct. 9, 2014 at 8:31 a.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Summit Classroom Building. Officers assisted an ELS student who fainted and declined further medical attention.
On Oct. 9, 2014 at 12:25 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. A student reported his vehicle was broken into, and a backpack containing personal property was stolen, some of which St. Paul Police Department later recovered.
On Oct. 9, 2014 at 9:13 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. Officers assisted a St. Thomas student who suffered a head injury playing intramural football and declined further medical attention.
On Oct. 10, 2014 at 2:56 a.m., Public Safety documented a burglary on the 1800 block of Goodrich Avenue. SPPD reported a St. Thomas student was arrested for forcefully entering a residence on the block he did not reside at.
On Oct. 10, 2014 at 2:43 a.m., Public Safety reported intoxicated individuals in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. Two intoxicated non-St. Thomas individuals of legal age, who attempted to access the office, were sent off campus.
On Oct. 11, 2014 at 2:27 a.m., Public Safety and the SPPD responded to public urination outside of Sitzman Hall. SPPD cited an underage St. Thomas student for underage consumption and public urination.
On Oct. 11, 2014 at 9:16 a.m., Public Safety documented an aggravated assault on the 100 block of 8th Street South. The Minneapolis Police Department reported a non-St. Thomas affiliated individual was arrested for striking an unidentified victim with a car.
On Oct. 11, 2014 at 7:05 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a liquor law violation in Brady Hall. Six underage St. Thomas students were found to have consumed or possessed alcohol.
On Oct. 11, 2014 at 11:26 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul police responded to disorderly conduct at Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. An underage intoxicated student, who was being disruptive at the Homecoming dance, was cited for underage consumption and taken to detox.
On Oct. 12, 2014 at 12:25 a.m., Public Safety documented damage to property in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. An unidentified individual threw an egg at audio equipment being used for a dance in AARC, damaging some of the equipment.
On Oct. 12, 2014 at 1:46 a.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Grace Hall. Three underage St. Thomas students were found to have consumed alcohol.
On Oct. 13, 2014 at 3:58 p.m., Public Safety reported damage to property at Anderson Parking Facility. An unidentified suspect forcibly opened an exit gate arm, rendering the gate inoperable.
On Oct. 14, 2014 at 9:45 a.m., Public Safety responded to a medical situation in Alumni and Constituent Relations. Officers assisted a St. Thomas employee who fell and tripped outside of Flynn Hall and declined further medical attention.
On Oct. 14, 2014 at 12:04 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 300 block of Selby Avenue. A St. Thomas employee reported the rear window of her vehicle was smashed and her St. Thomas-issued laptop was stolen.
On Oct. 15, 2014 at 11:56 a.m., Public Safety documented an aggravated assault on the 2000 block of Grand Avenue. SPPD reported an unknown suspect shot an unidentified victim with a BB gun at the SuperAmerica.
On Oct. 15, 2014 at 12:09 a.m., Public Safety documented a burglary on the 1700 block of Iglehart Avenue. SPPD reported an unknown suspect entered a residence on the block through an unsecured window.
On Oct. 15, 2014 at 12:34 p.m., Public Safety documented a burglary on the 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue. SPPD reported a burglary at a residence on the block.
On Oct. 15, 2014 at 12:51 p.m., Public Safety documented a burglary on the 1900 block of Grand Avenue. SPPD reported cash was taken from a residence on the block.
On Oct. 15, 2014 at 1:03 p.m., Public Safety documented a party complaint on the 1900 block of Grand Avenue. SPPD reported eight underage St. Thomas students were cited for underage consumption.
On Oct. 16, 2014 at 10:33 p.m., Public Safety and SPPD responded to a disturbance on the 2000 block of Fairmount Avenue. A report of loud persons walking through the block could not be verified upon officers’ check of the area.
On Oct. 17, 2014 at 12:14 a.m., Public Safety reported public urination near Cleveland Avenue and Summit Avenue. A non-St. Thomas affiliated individual urinating on St. Thomas property near the intersection was identified by an officer and sent off campus.
On Oct. 17, 2014 at 1:15 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation near the Arches. SPPD cited a disorderly intoxicated underage student for underage consumption and transported the student to detox.
On Oct. 17, 2014 at 2:49 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a noise complaint in Brady Hall. Four underage St. Thomas students were found to have consumed and possessed alcohol.
On Oct. 17, 2014 at 2:17 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity on the 2000 block of Marshall Avenue. A St. Thomas neighbor reported he heard what he believed to be a gunshot in the area the night before.
On Oct. 17, 2014 at 4:16 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft from vehicle on the 200 block of Cleveland Avenue South. A St. Thomas student reported all four tires and rims were stolen from his parked vehicle.
On Oct. 18, 2014 at 10:41 p.m., Public Safety documented a noise complaint on the 1800 block of Portland Avenue. SPPD reported a group of people outside of a residence on the block were told to keep the noise to a minimum.
On Oct. 19, 2014 at 2:03 a.m., Public Safety and SPPD responded to a liquor law violation in Dowling Hall. SPPD transported a severely intoxicated underage guest of a St. Thomas student to an area hospital.
