Bethel 38, Wisconsin-River Falls 20

Bethel quarterback Jaran Roste threw three touchdowns for 299 yards in Saturday’s game against non-conference opponent Wis. River Falls.

Wide receiver Drew Larsen caught three touchdown passes from Roste totaling 164 yards.

Bethel takes on Gustavus next Saturday in MIAC play.

Gustavus 41, Wisconsin-Stout 31

Josh Kirk scored two touchdowns for the Gusties, while Michael Veldman added another two to help lead Gustavus to its second win of the season.

UW-Stout led the statistic board in fourth down efficiency, net yards passing and total offense, but could not get the job done.

Linebacker Kolt Gorg had eight tackles to lead the Gusties’ defense.

Gustavus is on the road next week against at St. John’s.

Carleton 20, Lawrence 10

Carleton College rallied for a 20-10 non-conference win over Lawrence University.

Lawrence played almost the entire second half without starting quarterback D’Andre Weaver, who was injured late in the first half. Weaver was dynamic in the first half as he went 10-for-17 passing for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Carleton took the lead with a touchdown in the third quarter and then sealed the victory with a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

St. Olaf 33, Luther 20

St. Olaf running back Khayleb Willis rushed 33 times for a total of 260 yards scoring two touchdowns on Saturday against Luther.

Ole linebacker Brandon Foster had 16 tackles to hold Luther’s offense off.

St. Olaf plays next Saturday at home against Carleton.

Wisconsin-Whitewater 20, Concordia 10

No. 3 ranked UW-Whitewater got on the board first with a field goal after starting in good field position resulting from a Cobber miscue and interception.

The Cobblers were up 10-3 at the end of the first quarter, but could not hang on. UW-Whitewater’s offense found its rhythm with a 54-yard pass completion tying it 10-10 at the half.

Cobbler quarterback Blake Kragnes finished the day 9-18 for 127 yards and ran for another 39.

Concordia-Wisconsin 31, Augsburg 0

Concordia-Wisconsin dominated on both ends of the field to shut out Augsburg on Saturday.

Falcons quarterback James Linn completed 19-26 passes totaling 168 yards. Kicker Mason Kaschinske went four-for-four on extra point attempts and made a 36-yard field goal.

Concordia’s defense totaled 3 sacks for 39 yards, secured two fumbles and had one interception.

The Auggies struggled to keep possession of the ball with a total time of 20:32 while the Falcons controlled the game with a possession time of 39:28.

Hamline 31, Macalester 27

Hamline linebacker Tyler Dobbs caught a 21-yard pass from Connor Leavens at the end of the fourth quarter to take the lead in Saturday night’s game against Macalester.

Leavens threw four touchdowns for 287 yards with only one interception.

Macalester’s Kai Akimoto led the game in rushing for 61 yards having two touchdowns.

Hamline takes on St. Thomas next Saturday at home.
