Public Safety briefs

On Oct. 28 at 2:14 a.m., the St. Paul Police Department reported a liquor law violation in Morrison Hall. An underage intoxicated UST student, found by SPPD off campus, was cited by SPPD for underage consumption and was sent home with a sober caregiver.

On Oct. 28 at 2:24 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident at Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. Two unidentified individuals attempting to enter CHA after hours fled the area upon being approached by officers.

On Oct. 28 at 4:20 p.m. a UST employee reported a theft in 2085 Grand Ave. The employee recovered stolen UST property from three UST students’ residence.

On Oct. 29 at 1:56 a.m., Public Safety, the Saint Paul Police Department and Saint Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Shadow Falls Park. An intoxicated UST student with a facial injury was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Oct. 29 at 5:28 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage on the 100 block of Cretin Avenue. A patch of grass and sod were damaged by a vehicle removing a trailer from O’Shaughnessy Stadium.

On Oct. 29 at 8:26 p.m., Public Safety and Saint Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A non-UST affiliated individual injured during a Cretin-Durham High School football game was transported by medics to an area
hospital for further medical attention.

On Oct. 30 at 1:25 a.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in 2085 Grand Ave. Eight underage UST students and one underage guest were found to have consumed alcohol.

On Oct. 30 at 4:08 a.m., Public Safety responded to disorderly conduct in 2171 Grand Ave. A UST student reported a second student he had a verbal dispute with shoved him into a
door.

On Oct. 30 at 9:56 a.m., Public Safety assisted a UST student with documenting recovered property on the 400 block of Cretin Avenue. The student’s purse, initially reported as stolen, was later recovered and returned to her with all items intact.

On Oct. 30 at 5:39 p.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Murray Residence Hall. An underage UST student was found in possession of two empty alcohol containers and marijuana related paraphernalia.

On Oct. 30 at 7:45 p.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Flynn Residence Hall. A UST student reported that a guest of her roommates’ forcibly entered her secured room while she was gone.

On Oct. 31 at 8:17 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A UST student who injured his shoulder playing football was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention.

On Nov. 1 at 1:35 p.m., Public Safety documented a medical in Binz Refectory. A UST employee reported that a second employee choked on a piece of food during lunch the previous day, but was fine and did not require medical attention.

On Nov. 2 at 9:13 a.m., Public Safety documented criminal property damage reported by a Physical Plant employee on Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. An exterior downspout was forcibly bent from CHA, two additional downspouts were also found damaged while investigating the incident.

On Nov. 3 at 10:39 p.m., Public Safety documented a medical that occurred at the intersection of Grand and Cretin avenues. A UST student reported a second student was struck by a vehicle at the intersection and would be going to an area hospital to seek further medical attention.

On Nov. 4 at 2:13 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to an intoxicated person near the intersection of Cretin Avenue and Mississippi River Boulevard. An intoxicated non-UST affiliated individual of legal drinking age, who was obstructing traffic, was taken into custody by SPPD and escorted home.

On Nov. 4 at 9:53 a.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported she received contact through a social networking site from an unidentified individual under false pretenses, the nature of which became lewd and inappropriate.

On Nov. 4 at 10:42 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Ireland Residence Hall. Five underage UST students were present in a residence not of their own where alcohol was confiscated and four were found to have consumed alcohol.

On Nov. 5 at 2:31 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical outside of Flynn Residence Hall. A UST student with a knee injury was assisted by medics and transported by a friend to an area urgent care facility for further medical attention.
