Public Safety briefs

On Feb. 8 at 3:18 p.m., Public Safety documented a medical that occurred outside of St. John Vianney. A UST guest reported they tripped and fell outside of SJV, receiving a facial injury as a result.

On Feb. 8 at 9:49 p.m., Public Safety responded to disorderly conduct in Morrison Hall. A UST student who was verbally abusive towards a UST employee was identified by officers.

On Feb. 9 at 1:20 p.m., Public Safety documented a trespass in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A former UST employee was trespassed from campus and escorted off property.

On Feb. 9 at 11:46 p.m., Public Safety documented a written threat in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported they received a threatening electronic message from a second student.

On Feb. 10 at 1:16 p.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident in Minneapolis School of Law. Two UST students reported they were approached by an unidentified male asking for
money.

On Feb. 11 at 9:39 a.m., Public Safety and Hennepin County Medical Center Medics responded to a medical in Terrence Murphy Hall. A UST student, who fell and injured their head, was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Feb. 11 at 9:44 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A UST employee reported an unidentified male, found at another employee’s first floor
desk, left the area shortly after being confronted.

On Feb. 11 at 2:12 p.m., Public Safety responded to a safety hazard outside of Koch Commons and Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Officers directed foot traffic away from ice and water accumulating as a result of water flowing from a damaged pipe.

On Feb. 12 at 1:07 a.m., Public Safety and the Saint Paul Police Department responded to a party complaint on the 2000 block of Portland Avenue. SPPD cleared approximately 100 people
from a residence on the block.

On Feb. 13 at 1:06 a.m., Public Safety, Residence Life, the St. Paul Police Department and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a liquor law violation in Morrison Hall. Six underage UST students were found to have consumed alcohol; one of the students was also severely intoxicated and was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On Feb. 13 at 6:50 a.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident that occurred near the intersection of Snelling and Randolph avenues. Two UST students reported an unidentified individual was following them near the intersection.

On Feb. 13 at 3:43 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a suspicious odor in Morrison Hall. A UST student was found to have burned candles and incense in their residence in violation of UST policy.

On Feb. 14 at 7:47 a.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Grace Residence Hall. A UST student with a head injury was provided a taxi to an area hospital for further medical attention.
