On Nov. 20, 2013, at 4:21 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Terrence Murphy Hall. A St. Thomas employee reported he received a suspicious e-mail in response to his appearance on a local newscast.
On Nov. 21, 2013, at 5:22 p.m., Public Safety documented harassment in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. Physical Plant reported they received complaints from students who received unwanted comments from vendors putting Christmas lights up around campus.
On Nov. 22, 2013, at 12:21 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Aquinas Hall. Two St. Thomas employees reported items in their offices were tampered with.
On Nov. 22, 2013, at 2:24 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical call in the Anderson Student Center. A St. Thomas student, who slipped and injured their ankle on the center stairwell, was assisted by officers and taken off campus by a parent for further medical attention.
On Nov. 22, 2013, at 11:24 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Ireland Residence Hall. Three underage St. Thomas students and four underage guests were found to have consumed alcohol.
On Nov. 24, 2013, at 1:28 a.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a suspicious odor in Cretin Residence Hall. Two St. Thomas students and two guests were found to have been smoking a hookah in violation of residential policy.
On Nov. 24, 2013, at 2:01 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to drug possession on the Lot B drive aisle. An underage student was cited by SPPD for drug possession and underage consumption and a second student illegally possessed medication, paraphernalia and alcohol.
On Nov. 24, 2013, at 6:02 a.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious person in O’Shaughnessy Science Hall. An unidentified individual, reported as wandering through the building and making loud noise, was unable to be located upon officers’ search of the area.
On Nov. 24, 2013, at 8:37 a.m., Public Safety documented a hit-and-run on the 1900 block of Grand Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported two students, who were struck by a vehicle that fled the area, were transported to an area hospital for medical attention.
On Nov. 25, 2013, at 11:43 a.m., Public Safety documented a fake ID in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. Mail Room staff turned in undeliverable mail they received that contained a fake ID for a St. Thomas student.
On Nov. 25, 2013, at 11:52 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft from motor vehicle on the 1600 block of Marshall Avenue. A St. Thomas student reported their vehicle’s driver’s side window was broken, and a backpack was stolen from the vehicle.
