Caruso named Regional Coach of the Year
St. Thomas football coach Glenn Caruso has been named a Regional Coach of the Year.
The American Football Coaches Association named Caruso and five other Division III coaches award recipients Monday.

St. Thomas was unable to stop senior running back Logan Flannery Saturday and was ousted from the NCAA quarterfinals for the second consecutive season, falling 12-7 to Bethel.

On home turf, St. Thomas lost to Bethel 12-7 in the quarterfinals Saturday.
The snow from Friday’s storm was cleared long before the first snap of Saturday’s game, but junior running back Colin Tobin’s flurry of runs gave St. Thomas a 7-6 edge over Bethel at halftime.
Women’s hockey shuts out Gustavus to win 1-0
The St. Thomas women’s hockey team beat Gustavus 1-0 Friday night at home in Mendota Heights.
Junior Jamie Tiede led the Tommies (4-2-1 overall, 4-0-1 MIAC) to victory with a third period goal.
