The St. Thomas women’s basketball team beat the Hamline Pipers (5-9 overall, 4-7 MIAC) 69-62 Monday afternoon. The win puts the Tommies in a tie for first place in the MIAC with St. Ben’s (21-1 overall, 9-1 MIAC).
Senior captain Andrew Kappers’ two goals were not enough for the St. Thomas men’s hockey team Saturday afternoon as it was defeated 3-2 against visiting Concordia-Moorhead.
The St. Thomas men’s hockey team came out strong Friday night against Concordia-Moorhead, shutting out the Cobbers 3-0.

Football coach Glenn Caruso was voted the 2010 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year for the NCAA Division III Monday.
Caruso accepted the award in Phoenix, while about 50 people gathered in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex to watch and celebrate back home.
