This year the pool of tournament teams has been expanded from 65 to 68 teams. The first-round teams competed Tuesday and Wednesday, while the rest of the tournament begins this weekend.

Students could compete as individuals or as a team in the first-ever Tommie Triathlon, sponsored by the Wellness Center. Students ran, swam or biked for a total of 1 hour.
Tauer makes rare second trip to Final Four
John Tauer, assistant men’s basketball coach and psychology professor, is making his second appearance in the NCAA Final Four. His first, as a junior on the men’s basketball team, was in 1994.
