Tommies roll in season-opener at Eau Claire
Fourth-ranked St. Thomas defeated the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds 42-6 behind the passing of quarterback Alex Fenske and a stingy defense in the season opener Saturday night at Carson Field.
Officials: Remains of Minnesota boy missing since 1989 found
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a statement that “Jacob Wetterling’s remains have been located” and that the Ramsey County medical examiner and a forensic odontologist identified them Saturday.

Rebranded orientation in full swing
On July 11, St. Thomas welcomed the next generation of Tommies by kicking off the Orientation and Registration program for first-year students. Over the next couple of months, around 1,350 freshmen will go through O&R with about 150 students attending each of the ten sessions — and that’s not including transfer and international students.
