Students lined up outside the Tommie Triage Trailer, located behind Brady Hall, at 11 a.m. Monday to receive their H1N1 vaccine.
Earlier demolition date displaces swim team, weight room
O’Shaughnessy Hall will be demolished March 2010 – two months earlier than originally planned – and that’s making the hall’s occupants create new plans.

Proposed community garden may bring fresh greens this spring
St. Thomas may have a 40 square meter garden on campus this spring that will provide wholesome outdoor activity and fresh local produce to St. Thomas community members.
String of burglaries occurs on campus
Public Safety is investigating a string of campus office burglaries that happened last weekend.
Public Safety says the burglaries happened between Monday, Nov. 21, and Wednesday, Nov. 23. In all of the cases, window panes were removed from office doors to gain entry. Public Safety believes the suspects are searching for textbooks they can sell to third-party retailers.
Presidents’ pay climbs; Dease earns about $300K
The Chronicle of Higher Education reported that some private college presidents are shaking off the recession and are on their way to becoming millionaires.
Football fans line up for Saturday’s game vouchers
Junior Marguerite Maginot used to be embarrassed to attend home football games.
“The team was terrible my freshman year,” she said. “We wouldn’t even stay to watch the whole game.”
But a turnaround from a 2-8 record in 2007 to now hosting a second round NCAA playoff game has changed fans like Maginot’s opinion of the team.

Mall of America hosts Walk to End Hunger
Thousands of walkers are expected at the Mall of America on Thanksgiving morning for the second annual Walk to End Hunger.
The goal is to raise awareness and donations to end hunger in the nine-county Twin Cities metro region.

Students who are in need of legal advice can access a free resource in the Commuter Center.
The university’s law firm – Moore, Costello and Hart – has been offering free legal advice since the late 1980s. But the service dates back even further than that.
