The Impact Project will be a year-long annual project that focuses on fundraising for different areas of campus each year. This year, students will be able to participate in the Impact Project by purchasing items that focus on sustainability initiatives.
The mastermind behind Division III’s best defensive unit
Wallie Kuchinski, defensive coordinator of the St. Thomas football team, coaches a unit that is top-ranked in the MIAC and fourth overall in Division III. Last year, his defense made national headlines for allowing only 21.9 net rushing yards, the fewest by any NCAA football team in one season.

Club volunteer system undergoes change
Students and clubs have a new way of counting volunteer hours. Each club’s nominated volunteer coordinator will meet with the Tommies Together Volunteer Center to identify and approve a nonprofit partner with whom at least two thirds of the club will complete one group volunteer project each year.

St. Thomas students will have a chance to participate in the 2018 midterm election on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The offices up for election in Minnesota this year include governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state auditor, both senators and each congressional district.
Women’s soccer rolling with 14th-straight win
