Hand scanners to replace student IDs at residential dining entrances

Snuffy’s Malt Shop closes after 36 years in St. Paul
Snuffy’s Malt Shop on Cleveland Avenue closed its doors on July 25. For 36 years, the restaurant has served the community with affordable food and malt options, located only a short walk away from St. Thomas. Production Editor Emily Haugen has the full story.
Longtime St. Thomas choral director moves on to new university
Angela Kasper Broeker, St. Thomas director of choral activities and music professor, is leaving the university. Kasper Broeker will be in charge of the choral music education students at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington in the fall.
