The No. 9-ranked St. Thomas volleyball team lost in five sets to No. 21-ranked St. Olaf in the semifinals of the MIAC playoffs Thursday. The Tommies fell 26-24 in the deciding set at Concordia University in St. Paul.

Macalester defeats women’s soccer 1-0 in MIAC semifinals

The women’s soccer team fell 1-0 to Macalester in MIAC playoff action Tuesday on St. Thomas’ south field.

The loss is St. Thomas’ (13-5-1) second to Macalester (13-4-2) in 10 days, both by 1-0 decisions.

Concordia wins MIAC title, tops women’s soccer 3-2

Senior Erin Spranger’s two-goal effort fell short as St. Thomas lost to Concordia-Moorhead 3-2 on St. Thomas’ south field Tuesday.

St. Thomas saw its bid to defend the conference title end as Concordia-Moorhead, 9-0-1 in the MIAC, officially locked up the championship.
