St. Thomas men’s basketball got a 77-68 win over St. Mary’s Monday night at Concordia University’s Gangelhoff Center.
The win also broke the MIAC’s old record of 31-straight MIAC victories, held by the 1965-67 St. Thomas teams.

Poetry slam hypes library’s new stained glass window
On Friday, Nov. 20 the St. Thomas literary club hosted a poetry slam in Scooters to raise student awareness about the February installation of a stained glass window in the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library honoring author Zora Neale Hurston.
This is the first stain glass window dedicated to a female African-American author in the library.

It’s easy to think of St. Thomas teams that are competitive year in and year out. The basketball team has been at the top of the conference the past few years, as well as the baseball, softball and track teams.

Football gets first 9-win season since ’83
