Students’ work showcased at first ever ACTC Film Festival

Junior Will Scully was St. Thomas’ only representative at the festival.

The Tommies defeated the Cobbers 3-0 and will travel next weekend to St. Louis, Mo. for the Elite Eight.

St. Thomas defeated St. Scholastica 3-2 Saturday in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

The Tommies dominated the first two sets en route to a 3-0 victory and will face St. Scholastica at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Rock music blared from the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium Wednesday when local bands, Word Party and Howler performed.

Concordia-Moorhead’s Brian Kang scored both goals for the Cobbers as the Tommies came up short in their first home game of the season.

The Tommies beat Carleton 56-0, capturing the MIAC title and a 10-0 record for the second year in a row.

The St. Thomas swimming and diving teams started the season with a solid showing and have high expectations for the year.
