Some students think landline phones, including the phones the university provides to all students living in residence halls, are becoming outdated as more students are carrying cellphones.

The Tommies defeated Bethel 7-2 Saturday night after strong doubles performances. The team’s next match is against Hamline Saturday, April 9.
Strong pitching helps softball sweep Carleton
The Tommies beat Carleton 9-1, 6-5 in the team’s season-opening doubleheader at home, thanks to strong pitching by senior Cassie Smith. St. Thomas’ next game is against Augsburg Tuesday on the road.
‘Revealed’ raises awareness, money for African children affected by war
All the money collected from the event will benefit Invisible Children, a group that advocates for children who have been affected by the Lord’s Resistance Army.
