Women’s basketball defeats Bethel 71-56, winning streak hits 23 games
The St. Thomas women’s basketball team continued its undefeated streak in the MIAC on Wednesday when it defeated Bethel 71-56 at home. Wednesday’s win extended the team’s overall winning streak to 23 games.

Men’s basketball defeats Carleton 68-61, still pursuing MIAC title

Senior Ben Sathre was crowned the men’s cross country national champion in November 2011, and this winter, he has already broken a 27-year-old school record in the 3,000 meters.

After a 9-0 loss last weekend against Creighton University, the Tommies bounced back to defeat Southwest Minnesota State 9-0 at the Anderson Fieldhouse Saturday.

The St. Thomas men’s basketball team defeated Concordia-Moorhead 62-54 Saturday at Schoenecker Arena. The Tommies clinched a conference playoff berth with the win and remained one game behind first-place Gustavus.
