Men’s hockey playoff bound after 7-2 Bethel victory

After recording a hat trick against Bethel Friday night, Kappers’ two goals Saturday capped a seven-point weekend for the senior, who led St. Thomas to victory in his final regular-season game as a Tommie.

Women’s basketball gets revenge in 61-50 win over St. Kate’s

Surviving St. Kate’s strong second-half effort, the St. Thomas women’s basketball team escaped with a 61-50 win Saturday at home; an important win as the MIAC playoffs approach.

The Tommies were prepared for an aggressive game against St. Kate’s and were motivated to win after losing 73-68 to the Wildcats Jan. 15.
