St. John Vianney Seminary celebrates 50 years
From its founding in 1968, St. John Vianney Seminary at the University of St. Thomas has educated over 500 ordained priests. SJV is a Christ-centered community of men who are discerning the priesthood and is one of the largest communities of its kind in the nation.
Director of Athletics: Phil Esten
St. Thomas alumnus Phil Esten was announced as the new vice president and athletics director of the university. Esten starts in January and will take over the position from Steve Fritz, who announced his retirement earlier this semester.
