New football seats to be used by university, not by students

Move over, Target Field. The new seats overlooking Palmer Field at O’Shaughnessy Stadium are the latest rage for St. Thomas students.

The “veranda seats” are a new addition that came with the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex, and the seats are creating a buzz around campus because of their prime location.

Soccer loses 2-1 in overtime to St. Scholastica

The St. Thomas men’s soccer team lost 2-1 in overtime against St. Scholastica Tuesday.

Checking up on the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex

The Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex is still 4 months away from opening, but TommieMedia was given a second guided tour to check up on its progress.

Since TommieMedia’s last tour in March, some of the floors have been painted purple.

Comcast’s alert disrupts TV, IRT working to resolve issue

A scrolling message ran on the top on every channel of on-campus televisions throughout Wednesday.

An alert on the IRT website said the message from Comcast is a result of an upgrade that Comcast is working on. IRT said it is actively working with Comcast to resolve the issue.

O’Shaughnessy Hall time capsule offers glimpse of 1939

Students, faculty and staff recently caught a glimpse of life at the College of St. Thomas in the 1930s. At a ceremony Wednesday, a time capsule that had been housed in O’Shaughnessy Hall for more than 70 years was opened, revealing items from the time of the building’s construction.
