Turn on the radio, television or take a look at the Billboard Charts, and it would be hard not to say that there’s a British invasion of music in America.
Controversial film ‘The Anatomy of Hate’ shown on campus
Globally Minded Student Association (GMSA) and the Sociology and Criminal Justice Club (SCJC) showed the movie “The Anatomy of Hate: A Dialogue to Hope” on March 8. The movie was created to start dialogue between people and to put an end to hate.
St. Thomas bus company has bumpy week
The Lorenz Bus Service, the company St. Thomas uses to shuttle students between the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses, experienced a few problems last week.
Interracial couples overcome challenges, acceptance on the rise
A study by the Pew Research Center found that interracial marriage is on the rise and so is its acceptance. Students on campus in interracial relationships also talk about the challenges and respond to the research.

Brady Hall still recovering from flood
The aftermath of the Feb. 7 flood in Brady Hall is still affecting hall residents, but the students responsible have come forward.
St. Thomas’ turtle trackers
“Team Turtle,” a group of Biology researchers at St. Thomas, are studying turtles and their activity during the winter. The research is being conducted on the Mississippi River, some inland lakes in the metro area and a river in Michigan and Ohio.

Men’s hockey holds off St. John’s, wins 5-3
St. Thomas scored five times in the first two periods, but St. John’s rallied off three unanswered goals in the final period of play.

Campus parking prices too high
Parking prices at St. Thomas are not popular among students. For a commuter pass, a student pays $250 a year. Resident upperclassmen pay $450 a semester, and resident freshmen pay $1,080 for the year.
Men’s basketball crushes Gustavus 79-61
Senior Tommy Hannon’s 21 points led the St. Thomas men’s basketball team (5-1) over Gustavus Adolphus College (2-2) 79-61 Saturday at home.
