Volleyball team reflects on season after quarterfinals loss
It might take a while until the St. Thomas volleyball team realizes what it accomplished this season. After a tough loss in the NCAA quarterfinals to an experienced Juniata College, emotions will cloud things for some time. But all players need to do is look around at where they are, in St. Louis, to realize how special their season has been.

Nearly 2,000 attend homecoming dance
Students turned out in big numbers for the first dance in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. Two thousand wristbands were given out for the first homecoming dance since 2008, and most wristbands were used Saturday, said Associate Director of Campus Life Matt Gustafson.
Water polo group creates club on campus
The water polo club is in full swing this fall in the group’s first full year as a funded club. Members practice weekly in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex pool, preparing for future scrimmages with schools such as St. John’s.
