The Undergraduate Student Government unanimously approved the French Club, a club that started the process of drafting a constitution last year, but ran out of time in the academic year to seek university club status.
Meet the new School of Law dean: Robert Vischer
One of St. Thomas School of Law’s own, Robert Vischer, will replace interim dean Neil Hamilton as the third dean starting Jan. 1, 2013. The law school announced the decision on its website Thursday afternoon.

USG approves constitutional amendment on budget requests
USG unanimously approved a constitutional amendment Sunday that would allow clubs on probation to submit budget requests to the USG finance committee.
St. Thomas weighs in on its female president option
St. Thomas has had 14 presidents in its 127-year history, all priests, all men. Thanks to a 2011 bylaw change, the university’s 15th president could now be a layperson and also a woman.
