Students react to neighbors’ frustration with partying
The weekend of April 8 brought some turmoil to the St. Thomas community as a number of surrounding neighbors were disturbed by student behavior that day. Not all students, however, feel that the neighbor’s anger was justified.
Softball falls to Hamline, eliminated from MIAC playoffs
Hamline University defeated the St. Thomas softball team in a 6-4 slugfest Saturday at South Field, eliminating the Tommies from the MIAC tournament.
Student behavior erodes neighborhood relations
On April 12, Dean of Students Linda Baughman sent an email to all off-campus students informing them about a torrent of complaints neighbors made the Saturday prior and questioned the idea of “Tommie Pride,” asking students what the term means to them after a weekend of rambunctious partying.
