St. Thomas’ newest addition to campus, a men’s a cappella group, sings in the Anderson Student Center’s Woulfe Alumni Hall every Thursday and Sunday night.

Amy Ernst, volunteer rape crisis counselor in the Democratic Republic of Congo spoke to students on Monday, April 2, in the 3M Auditorium about sexual violence against women and children in Congo, and their hope and strength.
Student business creates T-shirts, microfinances other entrepreneurs
Lemonaid, a business started by a group of students, was launched as part of their 200-level entrepreneurship course. They plan to take their profits and microfinance it through Kiva, a non-profit organization that allows people to lend money through the Internet to help developing countries.
Students finding it difficult to get back into school routine after spring break
Thirty-one out of 50 St. Thomas students surveyed agreed that it was difficult to return to classes and get back into the school routine after spring break.

The University of Texas and a few other universities are deciding whether to enforce restrictions on students in an effort to boost four-year graduation rates and save money.
Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite
Two St. Thomas students, one who lived on campus and one who lives off campus, have had problems with bed bugs. However, Director of Residence Life Aaron Macke said it has not been an issue at the university.
