The men’s cross country team qualified for the national tournament as it tied for first place in the NCAA regional Saturday at Grinnell, Iowa.

Sophomore Ben Sathre took third place to lead the Tommies as St. Thomas finished with 116 team points along with Nebraska-Wesleyan. St. Olaf came in just behind with 117 points for second place.

The team qualifies to run at the national tournament Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio.
