On Oct. 18 at 6:21 p.m., a UST student reported a theft at an off campus location in St. Paul. The student’s phone, accidentally left at a medical facility, was later determined to have been stolen.
On Oct. 18 at 9:48 p.m., a UST student reported a suspicious incident near the intersection of Portland Avenue and Dewey Street. An unidentified individual approached the student and solicited them for money to repair a vehicle as a possible a scam.
On Oct. 19 at 11:13 a.m., Public Safety documented an electronic copyright infringement at the request of Information Resources & Technologies.
On Oct. 19 at 5:08 p.m., Public Safety documented a safety concern on the 2100 block of Summit Avenue. A bench near the UST shuttle stop was found in a state of disrepair.
On Oct. 20 at 11:56 a.m., A UST student reported a suspicious incident in Dowling Residence Hall. A report of an individual attempting to enter the student’s residence was later determined to be a UST employee attempting to return the student’s property to them.
On Oct. 20 at Public Safety reported a suspicious incident on the lower quad. A UST student, reported in a state of undress, was identified by officers and advised to leave campus for the evening.
On Oct. 21 at 2:27 a.m., a UST employee reported a liquor law violation in Cretin Residence Hall. Eight underage UST students were found to have consumed alcohol.
On Oct. 21 at 5:02 p.m., a UST employee reported property damage in LOT B. The employee’s parked vehicle was struck, damaging the rear of the vehicle.
On Oct. 22 at 1:12 a.m., a UST employee reported a suspicious odor in Grace Residence Hall. The St. Paul Fire Department determined the odor was coming from a malfunctioning heater motor.
On Oct. 22 at 2:28 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A UST student who injured their leg playing football was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention.
On Oct. 23 at 1:20 a.m., Public Safety reported a liquor law violation outside of Ireland Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated UST student and an underage intoxicated guest were sent home with a parent.
On Oct. 23 at 9:04 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Murray Residence Hall. A UST student who was not feeling well was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention.
On Oct. 24 at 5:58 p.m., a UST employee reported property damage in LOT E. A UST vehicle struck a dumpster in the lot, damaging the front of the vehicle.
On Oct. 24 at 10:28 p.m., Public Safety documented an electronic copyright infringement at the request of Information Resources & Technologies.
On Oct. 25 at 3:20 p.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident in Morrison Hall. Fraudulent phishing e-mails claiming to be from Wells Fargo bank were made to appear as if they originated from a UST e-mail address.
On Oct. 25 at 9:44 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Faculty Residence. An FCR resident who fell and cut their face and hand was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention.
On Oct. 26 at 2:30 a.m., a non-UST affiliated individual reported a theft from vehicle near the intersection of 11th Street and Harmon Place. The rear driver’s side window of the individual’s vehicle was smashed and a computer was stolen.
On Oct. 26 at 1:15 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST employee with a welfare check in John Roach Center. A parent of a UST student who abruptly left a class in JRC was reached by phone and reported the student was okay.
On Oct. 27 at 12:45 p.m., a UST student reported a theft outside of John Roach Center. A student’s secured bicycle was stolen from a railing outside of JRC.
On Oct. 27 at 1:20 p.m., a UST student reported property damage on the 100 block of Cretin Avenue. An inappropriate image was drawn on the sidewalk near Anderson Student Center.
