On April 14 at 3:04 p.m., Public Safety documented a major network outage on the Minneapolis campus. Phone, computer and other resources were not available as a result of the loss of network connectivity in Minneapolis.
On April 14 at 5:48 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST student with documenting a concern regarding protesters near campus. An officer explained to the student, who advised they were offended by the protesters, the protesters were on public sidewalks and not violating UST policies.
On April 15 at 5:35 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Graffiti was found in two stalls of a first floor men’s restroom.
On April 15 at 8:30 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department responded to a medical at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A UST student injured during a lacrosse game and was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On April 16 at 1:34 a.m., Public Safety reported a suspicious incident on the 1900 block of Portland Avenue. A UST student reported hearing noise that sounded like gunfire.
On April 16 at 1:45 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a disturbance on the 2100 block of Marshall Avenue. SPPD cleared approximately 60 people from a residence on the block.
On April 16 at 8:47 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage on the 2100 block of Selby Avenue. A UST neighbor reported a brick was thrown through their front porch window.
On April 16 at 11:58 p.m., Public Safety responded to an intoxicated person at Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age was sent off campus with a family member.
On April 17 at 12:42 a.m., Public Safety responded to an intoxicated person at Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.
On April 17 at 12:46 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation outside of Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. Two underage intoxicated UST students were sent home with a sober caregiver.
On April 17 at 1:17 a.m., Public Safety reported damage to property outside of Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Two UST students who removed and destroyed a napkin dispenser from MHC were identified by officers.
On April 17 at 4:42 p.m., Public Safety reported vehicle damage in LOT B. A UST guest’s parked vehicle was struck by a baseball from a UST baseball game, damaging the rear of the vehicle.
On April 17 at 9:51 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics responded to a medical in St. John Vianney. A UST student who fainted was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On April 18 at 3:33 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST student with missing property. The student’s laptop, initially reported as missing, was later recovered and returned to the student.
On April 19 at 4:45 a.m., Public Safety reported a safety hazard near the intersection of 11th Street and Harmon Place. A sidewalk grate was found unsecured and the city of Minneapolis was contacted to close it.
On April 19 at 12:09 p.m., Public Safety reported a theft from a vehicle on the 1900 block of Laurel Avenue. The front passenger window of a former UST student’s vehicle was smashed and a backpack, containing multiple pieces of personal property, was stolen.
On April 19 at 3:53 p.m., Public Safety assisted the UST community by returning a previously confiscated keg to Big Top Liquors in St. Paul.
On April 20 at 9:22 a.m., Public Safety documented a suspicious incident in Minneapolis Opus Hall. A UST employee reported toilet paper was missing from a second floor MOH restroom.
On April 20 at 9:45 a.m., Public Safety assisted a UST employee in Morrison Hall. A UST iPad, initially reported stolen by the employee, was later found by the employee.
On April 20 at 12:27 p.m., Public Safety documented disorderly conduct in LOT A. A UST employee reported an unidentified individual in the lot made an obscene gesture towards them.
