The St. Thomas women’s volleyball team defeated the St. Olaf Oles in a tight match Wednesday evening. It was the conference opener for both teams. The Tommies lost the first set 20 to 25. The Tommies then won the next three sets to defeat the Oles.

That same night, the men’s soccer team lost a close match to Gustavus Wednesday. St. Thomas has three one-goal losses this year and two were in overtime. The Tommies travel to Augsburg for another good match-up Saturday evening.
