Football leads Carleton 42-0 at halftime

The St. Thomas halfbacks carried the Tommies to a large 42-0 lead at halftime over the Carleton Knights Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.

Halfback Josh Parks rushed for 198 yards and scored three touchdowns on 13 carries, his longest run being a 60-yard scamper late in the second quarter. Halfbacks Jack Foley and Tom Loeffler also scored touchdowns and combined for 60 yards.

The Tommies defense locked down the Knights offense, allowing 61 yards and recording one interception by Tommie safety Jordan Lundell.

Quarterback Jacques Perra went 10 for 18 on passing attempts for a total of 100 yards. Despite not having a passing touchdown, Perra was managed to sneak past the Knights defense for a three-yard touchdown.

The last time the Tommies played the Knights, the Tommies won 63-0.
